Not worth the risk
So I bought this ring over 5 years ago with my wife and I wore it non-stop. Really liked this ring. However, I was playing racquetball and ran into the back wall. When my hand caught me and the ring hit the wall, it shattered. I know that sounds crazy -- I couldn't believe it. Titanium is supposed to be durable. Yet, maybe my case was just a weird instance. But the real kicker is that Shane Co., will not replace it. I am not prejudiced or angry about it, just disappointed and a little miffed that the policy isn't clearer. I had to call in order to understand the policy. On their webpage about lifetime warranty, it says that "We guarantee:...all wedding bands made of cobalt, titanium, zirconium, meteorite, and Damascus steel". Then later, under the "What's excluded" section, it says "Jewelry that can't be reworked to look like new (like stainless steel)". So which is it? What exactly is guaranteed? Certainly not titanium in a meaningful way. I would not recommend this ring. It's just not worth the risk of getting a few years down the road and investing it with sentimental value and having it break in a weird accident.

Why did you choose this?

My fiance likes simple jewelry and this one caught my eye. It has shape and different tones. It's simple yet there is some detailing. It's beautiful.
