Birthstone Rings

Birthstone rings are another excellent option. You can select a stone based off of your birth month to reflect a bit of personality and special meaning.

Right-Hand Ring Stacks

Of course, you don’t need to be rocking an engagement ring to pull off a sophisticated stack. The trick to pairing up right-hand rings? Get creative! Mix and match metals, styles, widths, and more to create something totally original. The more contrast you can create, the more interesting the ring stack will appear on your finger.

For this stack, we paired a Diamond Cluster Wedding Band in 14k Yellow Gold with this Round Diamond Band in 14k White Gold, a Pavé-Set Baguette Diamond Wedding Band, and this Oval & Round Diamond Cluster Band in 14k Rose Gold.

For a more delicate stack, try this: pair our Diamond Criss-Cross Wedding Band with this Vintage Wedding Band, this Diamond Wedding Band in Rose Gold with Pavé Setting, and that gorgeous Pavé-Set Baguette Diamond Wedding Band.

Engagement Ring Stacks

Sure, one diamond ring is gorgeous…but two rings are always better than one. Adding another band to your engagement ring and wedding band to create a stack can create a standout look that allows you to add some extra bling to your ring finger. Plus, a new band to stack is a great anniversary or birthday gift (psst, did you know you can drop a hint at Shane Co.?)!

To create an Instagram-worthy engagement ring stack, try pairing different metals with different styles of rings. Check out the videos below for examples.

For a white gold stack, we paired this stunning Vintage Knife Edge Solitaire Ring featuring an emerald cut diamond with this Baguette & Round Diamond Wedding Band, and this Pavé-Set Diamond Wedding Band in 14k White Gold. The result? Sparkling, modern designs that create a cohesive look.

For our rose gold stack, we chose this stunning Solitaire Engagement Ring with an oval diamond center stone and paired it with this Classic Pavé-Set Diamond Wedding Band and Vintage Diamond Wedding Band. This creates a unique vintage-inspired stack in our blushing shade of rose gold.

Multi-Finger Stacks

Want to try another trend by wearing your rings on a few fingers? Create this contemporary look by pairing thin, similar rings in different sizes according to how you wish to wear them.

To recreate this look, pair our 14k Yellow Gold Wedding Band with this 14k Rose Gold Wedding Band. You can also stack a band with some diamonds to add a little more sparkle.

How to Style Your Ring Stack with Other Pieces

Multiple rings mix and match perfectly with other pieces of jewelry. If you decide to mix metals in your stack, for example, that means you can accessorize with any other metals when it comes to necklaces, bracelets, and earrings.

We like earrings that coordinate with your stack. If you’re wearing a gemstone ring, match it with the same gemstone in your earrings. This creates a sense of cohesion that doesn’t overwhelm the eye. When it comes to necklaces and bracelets, our advice is to keep it simple. This way, most of the attention will be on your ring stack and your overall jewelry look will be balanced.

How to Care for Your Ring Stack

Caring for a ring stack can get tricky, especially if you have different types of metals and gemstones in your stack. We recommend taking your rings to a trusted jeweler like Shane Co. to keep everything clean and in tip-top shape. We offer free care and cleaning as part of our Lifetime Warranty. There are a few ways to care for different metals at home, though, that we’ve listed out below.

Yellow Gold

Mix dish detergent with a few drops of ammonia in a small bowl. Carefully brush with a soft toothbrush, rinse with warm water, and air dry.

White Gold

Mix warm water and a mild soap in a small bowl. Soak the ring, then after about 30 minutes, scrub with a soft-bristle brush. Rinse in warm water and dry with a towel.

Rose Gold

To keep rose gold shiny, submerge it in a salt and vinegar solution. Pour distilled white vinegar into a bowl and dissolve salt in it, one teaspoon at a time. Soak the ring momentarily, then immediately rinse with warm water. We don’t recommend this solution if your ring has gemstones other than diamonds on it.

Silver

Boil water and pour it into a small bowl. Add a bit of baking soda and place your ring in the mixture for a few minutes. Remove the ring, then dry it with a cloth.
